Welcome to the Ysgol Bryn Garth school website! We hope you find it useful and fun; it’s a great resource for everyone connected to our school. You’ll be able to find key information about the school, dates, photos, who’s who, and importantly, a little bit about who we are…
Ysgol Bryn Garth is a small, English-medium village school, nestled in the heart of the Pen-y-ffordd and Ffynnongroyw community. Set against the backdrop of stunning Welsh countryside and with views out to sea, our school may be small, but we think it’s mighty, too!
Our school is split into four mixed-age classes: Nursery and Reception, Years 1 and 2, Years 3 and 4, and Years 5 and 6. This mixed-age approach to our teaching and learning ensures that children are offered the highest quality provision, whilst allowing them to build meaningful relationships with their classmates and the staff that are working with them.
Although our school is an English medium school (lessons are led through the English language), we are exceptionally proud of our Welsh culture, heritage and ethos. All children in school will be taught Welsh as a second language, meaning that when they leave Ysgol Bryn Garth at the end of Year 6, they are ready to embrace all of the opportunities their chosen high school will have for them.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
