Foundation Phase Sports Day
Dear Families,
I write with regards to the arrangements for Sports Day 2021 in the Foundation Phase. This year, we will be holding a ‘Festival of Sports’ morning, where children will join in with a range of different sports activities around the field. Due to current Welsh Government restrictions, we are not able to invite parents to attend our Foundation Phase Sports Day this year. Children will, however, be recorded completing some of their activities, and these will be added to Seesaw for you to view. We are hoping that this Sports Day Festival will take place on Tuesday 6th July in the morning. This date may change depending on the weather.
In order to give us some more time to practise, we are asking that all children come to school in P.E. clothes on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week as well as on Tuesday 6th July. Please note that this is not own clothes day and children must be appropriately dressed in clothing suitable for taking part in sporting activities (denim jeans and shorts are not appropriate).
We are hoping that the ‘Festival of Sports’ will be fun and inclusive for all children, and fingers crossed next year, restrictions will allow you all to join us.
